road bike tyres

Cyclists, a question from a runner who occasionally road cycles. i need new road bike tyres, if my current road tyres are 700x25s, could i get away with putting 700x23 or 700x28 size tyres on the same wheel size?

yes. Shouldn't be a problem.

Going smaller (700x23) is no problem, going bigger (700x28) might be if you don't have the clearance; rim wise either size will be accommodated.
