Road bike tyres

They’re not very good in terms of puncture protection, for a budget tyre, I’d go for Rubinos (having come off on a greasy road on almost new Zaffiro pros I wouldn’t have those again, they came on a new to me bike)

Following your advice, I have dropped the above and ordered a Specialized All Conditions 700x28 tyre. Good all year round tyres as I have them on my Allez and very rarely have punctures. Not bothered about speed or rolling resistance at my age.

I've been riding on Rubinos in London for years. They seem a good compromise between economy, reasonable life and good puncture resistance.

I have a Roubaix disc and have the Specialized Roubaix 700x30s on it. It's the only bike I have that doesn't have marathon pluses on
