If you can get Wiggle to price match the Ribble ProLites then do it, you won't match anything at that price. Here they are on my Giant

Look nice, wasn't sure if the decals would be too 'bling' but they look nice on your bike. I notice that your running Gp4000s 25mm with them - good selection! Nice to know they take 25mm tyres fine.

Did you notice any acceleration improvement over the stock defy wheels?

That sounds do like the same thing a guy at work did. Pretty happy with them in his caadx as I understand it.

Nice to hear he's happy with them. Only bad reviews I have seen is that it's quite hard to get tyres on them and a minority saying they went out of true quickly.

That's a quality bit of trolling there. Brings nothing to the thread, making a statement whilst mildly topical is complete rubbish, but with enough bait so people will bite and start a 'debate'. Well done, 8/10.

Apologies - too much wine last night.

Just checked with him, he's very happy with them, especially for that price. He commutes about 13miles each way on a CX 3/4 times a week with a decent climb on the way home with no problems.
Sounds like another cycling forum out there has a lengthy thread about people having a go at the same thing. Seems some at Wiggle know they are different wheels and some don't!

Looks like I should just go for it as the deal is too good to miss out on - I cannot really lose out as I am sure that I could sell them second hand if I don't get on with them for similar money to what I am going to pay. I will purchase them tonight. Did your mate also manage to get them via the price match?

Yup, I think that's the only reason he went for them. He was on the look out for an upgrade over the stock wheels but didn't want to fork out too much so lept at the chance to get these at what, better than half price?

Yeah that is also what I am thinking - bit of a no brainer! I will let you all know how I get on with them compared to my current Mavic stock wheels when I get out on them.

Fell like a right idiot :banghead:should have checked early but my rotors are centrelock, and unfortunately the pro-lite's only come as 6 bolt hubs. Pretty gutted, but don't think its worth buying new rotors etc. Have to stick with my Mavic's for the time being.

You can get adapters for those y'know...

I could only find adapters for a centrelock hub to take a 6 bolt rotor, and not the other way around which is what I would need if I got the wheels - a 6 bolt hub to take a centrelock rotor.
