The legacy of the Wests continues, as son Sam portrays Siegfried Farnon in (the present day adaptations of) All Creatures Great & Small
I hadn't really twigged they were related!
It's not the greatest show ever made, but it's always watchable, with a few great moments. I'm coming to the view that Siegfried is actually the central performance that everything else hangs off - the others have all the fun, so it's easy to overlook him. It's taken many hours to sink in 👍
I watched a bit of the original version a few weeks ago and it was astonishing how close Sam West plays the part to the original. He's by
far the closest. (Not that it's important, but I found it interesting!)
I do hope this is an allowable thread-drift BTW,
Tim West fans do please let me know otherwise.
