Decades ago a work colleague joined us on an attempt at the Skye ridge in one day. He dropped out halfway and commented that maybe 5 Um-Bongo wasn’t sufficient for such an undertaking

I suspect there has been a few mergers and acquisitions since 1980s.
They surely wouldn’t have had to competing brands.

They don't make it in the jungle any-more - it's not as good as it used to be....

I don't mind as much, as they've said they won't change the ingredients or flavour. I wouldn't drink it all the time but every now and then it's a nice refreshing drink. This is actually quite exciting, you know in 10 years time we'll be calling it Lilt and our kids/grandkids will be saying "why do you call it that, it's Fanta?" And we'll say "well back in my day it was Lilt"

In ten years time we'll just have stopped calling it "Li-Fanta Pineapple" and they'll announce they're renaming it "Lilt" with great fanfare.

I think that was Inca Cola which, certainly when we tried it in Peru in 2017, was still coloured with Tartrazine
