I read that she wanted no funeral, memorial service or marked grave.

Curious.

Makes her sound somewhat dark/deep compared to the image she had with some.

Sometimes people in the public eye are quite different to their public persona. Perhaps she just wants privacy in death that she never had in life?

Nothing curious about that, those are my instructions should I predecease Mrs SJ.

David Bowie did the same thing. My wishes are that I am cremated with no service and my ashes spread on my local beach during a family BBQ in the summer.
