I too was brought up on Merseyside, but preferred the Beatles. But then in 1969, moved to near Dartford in Kent, home of the Rolling Stones. Liked them both.

I believe Charlie Watts was also a cycling enthusiast. I saw him at the Skol Six, walking into the centre.
