Been meaning to watch the film for a fair while - turns up on TV every few months.
If I remember correctly the premiere took place at what is now the Genesis Cinema in the east end, with the afterparty at a club over the road owned/controlled by the Krays.

Not sure it was consensual, saw an interview once where she left it at saying no to the Krays was not a good idea.

Didn't she put a good word in for one of the Krays when he passed?
Even the Krays couldn't operate from beyond the grave.
I must say I could never understand her supposed sex appeal, especially in her younger Carry On days.
Always seemed to me that the fact that she was supposedly a British sex symbol seemed to say something not altogether great about the Brits and sex - or at least the sex the fans were getting.
She looks far better in that pic upthread when older.
RIP anyway.
