I once spent £2000 on beer and whiskey in two weeks, touring Ireland. Cycle 20 miles, pint, cycle another 20, another pint, and so on. Don't remember much of that tour.

I spent five hours, and not a penny, in the bar at the Guinness brewery in Dublin, swallowing 14 pints of the black stuff. I don't remeber too much about that, either!
