please don't try and ride it in the summer http://www.cyclingnorthwales.co.uk/pages/snowdn_volunt.htm unless you do it late evening , and then take extra care of walkers who are taking the whole day to summit and descend.

the Local authority WILL clamp down if we screw it up through our arrogance .

You could do the ride on your own, but take care.. In summer, there is a daytime ban in place as it is very busy with hikers.
Early morning would be good. Check the link in the post for more details.

Yes, I had read up about the ban. If I do it it will most likely be an early morning trip.
