Not finished. It will get me back on the road... the Garmin Explore matches the colours . 5 years not riding road has been hard given what happened to me. I will get back out. MrsF OK with it as it's not 'commuting' - won't ever do that anymore, unfortunately.

PS It was far nicer to commute on bad roads than my alloy/carbon fixie, just 'zuzzed' out road buzz, but was faster.

Seatpost is a SJS Cycles replica aero post, only £13 (plus delivery). It's not too different from the Campag and Dura Ace/600 Aero posts, but have you seen the price of scruffy vintage seatposts !

Thanks for the tip! I’ve just ordered one for my Raleigh Ti Rep, will look great with a San Marco Concor saddle.

I disagree, the old paintwork was of its time, you’ve managed to update it but keep it vintage. Mine had been repainted in black, again a huge improvement on the original shell suit 1990s designs.

Finished and ready to roll. Gears were grumbly at first but shifted perfectly. Guess who left a spacer off the cassette.
