So you either pay between £50-£100 for an 80's bike and wear normal sporting clothes, or pay 2k upwards whilst wearing lycra and be about 2mph better average speed....?

Is that wrong or does anyone else feel that's a bit of a waste of money... :wacko:

Even so...I still want the carbon :whistle:

Tribars & helmet made the biggest difference, followed by wheels, clothing and rest of bike.

Slap tri bars on an old bike and a pointy helmet, then there will be less difference.
