126mm freehubs are long gone. Even my 1986 Raleigh had 130mm spacing and that's with a 7 speed freehub.

Definitely like hens teeth for originals. With a freewheel you can always adust the OLN by swapping spacers/axles out if you have the parts. I bought a new wheelset from a LBS a couple of years back and he removed a couple of washers to get it right - although the axle itself needed a couple of MM removing from each end to ensure the QR would work.

No reason not to put old hubs onto new rims though and keep it working that way.

Okay
Now thanks in part to Covid I have too much time to think and I would like to ask a different question or two.
If I respace a 126mm hub to fit into 130mm frame in order to reduce the dishing by adding a longer axle and a spacer on NDS would I also have to recalculate spoke length???

The hub flanges cannot move (except round and round, of course), and that's what the spokes are attached to. Cunning axle wheezes are irrelevant. How about a picture of the bike and the hub?

Obviously hub flanges will move relative to the rim if I put extra 4mm on the NDS. I think left flange will move to 34.6 and right to 19.9, reducing the offset to 7.4.
