The snag with sealed/sleeved BBs is that once water does get in (and it will) it doesn't dry out again for ages, just hangs around in there causing corrosion.

For almost every problem there's a solution and for almost every solution there's a problem.

That reminds me... is marine grease just lithium grease, or is there more to it than that?

Grease is made up of lubricants and soap-like materials. As such, regular greases can emulsify in water, but marine grease has elements which prevent this, thus preventing the grease from washing away. Marine bearing grease seems a bit more waxy.
