replacement straps

Hi there. I have inherited a bike carrier (boot mount) but it seems to have a strap missing. I can find loads of heavy duty ratchet straps available, but does anyone know where I can get a strap with a similar sort of soft hook on the end to the existing ones? I don't want to damage my precious paintwork (bike or car!)

Picture might help. I know maxxraxx do spare straps - theirs have a 'toggle' on one end that fits in the boot hinge, and a hook on the other that goes on the carrier.

It's a Hollywood carrier. Not really heard of them before. Thanks for the suggestions. I'll see what I can do. Worse case I can get a soft hook one from halfords or somewhere. Only thing is they look like the shortest length is about 5 metres which would give me a bit much leftover to stop from flapping about!
