So I'm going through the slow phase of upgrading my bike, recently work paid for £300 of maintenance whereby I upgraded my groupset, now I'm thinking about my saddle.

At present on my 2012 Giant Defy 2 I have the standard out of the box saddle but as I'm going to be increasing my mileage quite considerably I'm thinking about replacing it. There is no rush for this as I'm fairly happy and comfortable with the current but I'm looking for suggestions on a replacement.

As for style I don't want a brooks saddle, so it needs to look quite slick and ideally would have some red detailing so anything that has colour options would be a plus. Looking to spend circa £100 depending on quality but could maybe go up if it's a great deal.

Any suggestions??

It's been done to death TBH, if you use the search function there's loads of opinions on past threads.

It's a very individual thing.

I'd go to Specialized and get measured and buy the one that suits you. The Romin is popular

Just go get your bum measured and then buy what fits.

My TCX1 came with a very uncomfortable saddle - had a measure and ended up with a Bontrager Affinity R in Med' for £45 - bum heaven!

Not sure why you need to spend £100 on a saddle tbh.

Definitely have to agree. After wasting an absolute fortune on saddles due to getting badly chafed with every one I tried.............what ended up the best? One costing £18
