Replacement headlights for Toyota Corolla

Sometimes it's possible to buy spare parts badged/packaged for a lesser marque if you are prepared to compromise.

My kid brother saved a fortune on replacement headlight units for an Aston Martin that he bought 'slightly crunched' they were Mazda headlights
The replacement cast aluminium engine bed was originally for a Jaguar
He bought the radiators direct from the West Midland manufacturer
Something else was from the Ford parts bins

He was lucky enough to be in the car trade and could spot equivalent parts. Lesser mortals' wallets would have bled to death.

I found that. The Ebay part was under half the price that Mazda wanted, and the cheeky buggers wanted a hours labour on top to fit it! It took me 15 minutes, and I'd never done one before.

I had the same with a replacement wing mirror last week , on ebay it was £12 but the numpties sent the wrong side so Mrs CK took it to the garage who charged her £55 for a 2 minute job .
