Odd, I renewed mine 6 months ago (it still had 5 months 'credit') I also got a 10 year and 5 month passport

Wow, so now a UK passport will only really be valid for nine and half years!
This means my passport that expires in January 2029 will be one of the last of the British burgundy "EU" passports.
As we all know one of the great advantages of Brexit is we are all downgraded to a new Blue Passport which will be valid is less counties that the EU version.
