In my experience, yes. 15mm does the job on all my bikes.

I was always taught to pull a spanner rather than push it... to save knuckles :thumbsup:

Crock, if you can use a pedal spanner, they are longer and thus give more leverage. The easiest way to remember which thread is which is to stand the bike with the crank you want to remove pointing forwards. Put the spanner on vertically and push towards the back of the bike. This works on both sides, so you don't have to think which is which! To do them up just remember to turn towards the front wheel.

If you need a lot of leverage use a length of scaffold pole to ad length to the spanner...

To save knuckles use the big hands method, crank horizontal, spanner on in such a way that you can grip both crank arm and spanner and squeeze them together.
