Had a bash with the wife's Acetone, hope she doesnt need to take off her Nail Varnish tonight
It works, but its a bitch to shift, laborious process !

Strange thing is, the stickers on the Front Wheel just peeled off cleanly, nearly nothing left behind, but the Rear........jeezuz.....

Hair dryer on the decal should help it come off in fewer bits. Then the IPA. I'd guess acetone (nail varnish remover) would also work

Don't use beer, it won't work and is better as a drink.

Thread resurrection, rather than start a new one:

I have a set of Fulcrum Racing wheels with horrible plastic decals all round both wheels that are a pain to get off. Tried all the methods above and they all help...eventually...with a lot of time.

I got fed up and decided to try these drill attachment eraser wheels, only a few quid on ebay:

It took around an hour to clear all the decals off with the eraser and glue residue off with solvent for both wheels, and although it sounds a bit vicious when rubbing the decal off, it leaves no marks on the black painted rim surface. There are a couple of Youtube videos showing it being used on car decals.
