Lost it, got it again.
I also find BicycleTutor a good online video resource:-

worth practicing wheel removal and refitting, especially if you may be faced with a puncture in the cold/dark/wet at some point.

Cheers, I'll give that a go.

Cold, wet, dark summed up this mornings flat!

One more for you. You may need to deflate the tyre after testing in order to get it back past the brakes, even with them released.

Like MacB says - bicycle tutor is good.

if you are commuting another great tip is to keep a pair of latex gloves in your pocket. keeps your hands clean and stops grime being transferred to handle bars for subsequent journeys.

another tip for punctures is to keep 2 tyraps (zipties) (cableties) that way if you can't fix the puncture you can isolate the section its in from the rest of the tube enough to get yu to a place to fix it.

Cheers all. Sorted it. Wheel off, gear mech all easily moved. Tyre thorn removed, puncture repaired (forgot to not the size of tube I needed) and bike ready to roll again tomorrow am.

Size is written on the outside of the tyre
