Such as? Any parts in particular?Hello,
I'm looking for cheap and recycling bi cycle parts in and around Newbury, west berkshire.. Does anybody knows where can I get them please?
thanks,
I'm reasonably sure that Newbury council will not bother collecting them that regularly, instead leaving them until they receive a complaint, in which case I imagine it will end up at the recycling centre on the A339/Newtown Road, where it will get thrown in the appropriate container. I'm sure the council be a) happy for you to clear the waste for them or b) have a chat with the chaps at the recycling centre - I don't imagine they will be too bothered if you removed the odd part if you asked.Hello,
thanks for your suggestion, I'm looking for riser handlebar .. Currently I have flat handlebar on my MTB ..When I rise my handlebar.. quill bolt gets loosed often..
Are there any scrap yard kind of for bicycles?
On the otherside have seen so many abandoned cycles in and around Newbury some without wheels and some just with frames Well I may have to check with town council where are these bikes go ..
If you are willing to travel to Reading there is a place called "Bicycle Kitchen" (link below)
They have boxes and boxes of old parts: cranks, chainsets, handlebars etc...
I think they are open 9-5 on Saturdays and various evenings 5-9
