Marathon+ may be a bit on the heavy side.

I would go for some 28C's, I use Vittoria Randoneurs, but Gatorskins should be lighter.

I'd vote for Durano Plus in 25mm... They've coped with every bad surface I've gone across and they have a bit of 'give' in them for comfort.
