HeatHolder socks 4.99 from Millets. If you are a bloke and have small feet buy the womens size (4-8). They are quite bulky.

GO Outdoors were also selling these..picked up a pair of 8-11's and walkign around the house the toes were flapping around like clown shoes

They'll never fit inside cycling shoes in a month of Sundays and to be honest, I don't think I'd like to walk more than 3 or 4 miles with them inside my walking boots

Good for pulling on after a post-ride/walk shower, to lounge around in front of the telly with a well deserved single malt though :becool:

I do something similar, except in my case it's my tracky bottoms, a book and sit by the fire with a dram of laphroaig... and if the dog's reading into the cliché, he lays at my feet!

The older I get, the faster I used to be ...

- that is why I recommended buying the womens size. Then they fit inside my cycling shoes, and they are better (warmer) than a couple of brands of cycling specific winter socks I own. (They also shrink a little after washing).

I've got merino socks and overshoes but my feet still get freezing.

I've taken to wearing merino sock, ski sock, then overshoe outside of my cycling shoes ( which are off road type and warm.

I've already got a chilblain on one of my toes.

Any recommendations? .

I've got some Icebreaker hiking socks. They are quite toasty and are only the lite ones. They are merino and don't get sweaty at all.

I suffer from cold feet and chillblains too, really badly.
Several things ive found...
Most of my riding is commuting, up to 15 / 20 miles at a time.
I was wearing two pairs of socks and cycling shoes...horrendously cold feet and chillblains.
Got some heat holders, fabulous socks, but theyre impossible to get in normal shoes. (if you buy the correct size for your feet)
Stopped wearing my cycling shoes (which are vented of course and let in the cold wind) and started wearing my work boots which come well up the ankle. Boots and Heat Holders...terrific.
Just been out for a sub 1 hour ride with my new Endura thermal socks, a pair of normal socks underneath, normal cycling shoes and overshoes....no problem....feet were still warm
Just got to get my hands sorted out now.
