Recommend me a video camera...multi-purpose!

Any views on what to look for much appreciated.

What I want to do is to take decent quality footage of hill-walking and also use on the bike off-road and on.

I also might want to do the odd "product demonstration" type video

The quality needs to be good enough to make at the very least passable home videos rather than just "mobile CCTV"

What I don't want it for is for weddings, v-blogs or other such things.

So...what should I be looking for, if not makes/models, what features are a bonus to look for? Perhaps more importantly, any crap I should avoid?

I've got an Muvi Micro which is pretty good. There are imitations on ebay for like £15, which I've heard all work fine. The branded camera is only about £50 though.

It doesn't have a screen if that matters? It also isn't waterproof, though you can buy a waterproof case (quite expensive though).
