What a top bunch you are, thanks for all the info.

Have decided to go for one of these, but from ebay as opposed the DealExtreme people.

I think mine is 1300 lumens and has cost me £25.99.

Will have to look into more serious offroaders when the time comes, but have had a quick look at the Hope, recommended by Giles and Fossyant. Thanks again chaps.

Nope MrGrumpy, but what I do know is that the light mentioned in my link above was a Cree, linked here in the same topic...

...and I believe mine is the same. The Deal Extreme link in the link I link above is also overseas, but where? God knows. I know some people had some hassles with them too so figured I would go down the ebay route for what is essentially the same product, an XML T6.
