I just got into cycling and I hate the sizing of some brands, Endura and Gore come to mind. Lusso is the best brand I have found for accurate sizing. I take a large in regular clothing and a large in Lusso fits superb.

Like Cheesney says, Lusso clothing is proper British sizes, not Italian skinny racer sizes.

Well priced when you're just starting out and hoping that you'll soon be too small for it.

You appear to have similar dimensions to me, I'm 5'11, 16.5 stone, 48 chest, 36-8 waist. . I like these guys for bibshorts (I am on my second pair from them, size large, snug, luvverly, good value)

I'm banned from bib shorts by SWMBO until the gut goes. She says I look too much like a Michelin man for her to take me seriously. She has a point.

The trick is to get the bibs and a top on without her seeing me sans top.

Just wear whatever you're comfortable wearing. There is no rule that says you must kit up like a gay power ranger.

Tons to look through here chaps - thanks! I just paid £200 for a service, new STI's and pedals so gear might have to wait until next month anyhow.

Bintanman you anorexic sized person:

Karrimoor kit at Sports Direct will sort you out. I am a 52" chest and a 44" waist and their stuff does me. (they do do smaller sizes as well lol).
