hanger looks like its bent inwards a bit to me...you'll know if its bent...

Probably best for me to just replace it, cant be bothered tinkering about to get it to work, just swap it out.

i must have dodged hundreds of the pot holes today but it only takes one to knacker ya bike

replaced the rear mech, had to reuse the old hanger as i bought a new one but it didn't fit the triban, had to get a friend of my dads to straighten it out. I've replaced the chain also, just need to take a few more links out as it rubs in some gears buts that'l be easy enough,

Also had to true the wheel as it was buckled but the bike is now working again and i'm looking forward to putting some miles in tomorrow. thanks for the help / advice.
