Bought a brand new wireless Cateye computer today fixed it securely in the mount and it came off tonight when out a club ride!
Pissed off the mounts are terrible! That's £50 I will never see again

The way I read it he can't have it repaired because it's gone.

Yeah me and a mate went back to try and recover it but couldn't find it

the strada wireless is a benchmark computer - you rarely hear a bad thing said about them - I have 2 and they have both been faultless

I think you didn't click it in enough.

I would try contacting the retailer, if you have no joy, then try cateye direct.

Unfortunately, I would agree. This happened to me the very first time I used mine. I stopped straight away, found it, and gave it a proper shove back in.

Good luck getting a replacement.

One of my lights (front) is a cateye, and the mount disintegrated after about two months. Utter rubbish. The rear light one is pretty good though.

I had the same problem with my Strada Wireless on my first trip with it. Luckily it bounced off the road and hit my downtube making a loud noise alerting me to the fact it had fallen off. What surprised me was that neither the computer or downtube had a mark on them.
With hindsight, I think that I mustn't have pushed it in the mount hard enough because its been rock solid and never moved since.
