Why would that affect just one foot?It sounds like your saddle is too high, try dropping it 5mm.

Jim, the bike fit came free with the bike purchase and I thought I would take advantage of the service in case I could gain some advantage perhaps.Evidently everyone has one leg shorter than the other. I guess it's how much that matters. If you were comfy before, why did you pay for a bike fit? It's not the first time I've heard of somebody doing this and being worse off. I've always found that getting the basics like elbow from saddle nose to bars, heel on pedal etc,etc works quite well and then just tweak things from there according to how you feel on a long ride. There are so many variables with individuals I've never undestood how being fitted in a shop can solve them all. I'm also of the opinion that if things are not wildly out with little discomfort that the body adapts and settles into what works for it.
There again what do I know.![]()
My seat stem is marked for position so i could try that i guess and always return it if it doesn't feel right. Cheers.I do have some experience in this area. You could try lowering your seat by a few mm and see waht happens.
after having my bike fitted last thursday on the retul computer system my bike was adjusted a lot and now feels faster and
a completely different riding experiance and climbing is more efficient, however i was told that the bike fit would feel
uncomfortable for a few weeks after as its different muscles being used and different riding posistion.
i had a bit of pain in my lower back for a couple of days and legs were sore as well but this is normal for a bike fit and you
need to give it time first.
any decent fitter should have told you this.
what system did they use by the way??
