Rattling Claris Shifters

The bike's not worth it
It was my first road bike, and it's not great. It's aluminium, with tubes that aren't formed at all. It has a pretty harsh ride.

Seems to be an issue with a range of shimano shifters , not just claris .

Thanks for posting this, I've also got an upfront rattle that I can't chase down, will now be looking at my brifters tonight, I've got Sora shifters but at least now got another route to investigate!

This thread may just have saved my mental wellbeing as I have had a very annoying rattle ever since I replaced the brake cables. Will have to habe a look and fix it
