What wrong with these people, while cycling yesterday, I was in primary on a short stretch of road (no need to be in primary but the road was clear in both directions with plenty of room to pass) about 200 meters to the junction , the car behind blew his horn then passed me waving his hands about, he accelerated up to the junction and had to stop, he must have thought I was going to damage his car or something and set of with spinning wheels, what a tool.

Then going into York in the cycle lane (the traffic was fairly heavy) I was nearly doored by a blind driver getting out of his car, the language wasn't very complimentry, rant over.

.... and breath .... Idiots, they are everywhere ... bin it and move on with more positive thoughts. Not trying to be trite, its just I'm making a positive effort not to let the madness get to me because it just brings you down.

Sometimes I think there I something in the water or something is being beamed out of the television that's turning people into idiots:wacko:. There seems to be more of them every day. Don't let them win and get to you. Carry on regardless :becool:

There's every need to be in the primary. Makes you more visible, improves your forward vision, keeps you out the bumps and detritus of the gutter. You were doing nob all wrong son.

As I was approaching a small traffic island last week I decided to go into primary. Heard some idiot revving the ar*e out of his car behind me, he was going to squeeze by regardless of there being no room. I had to pull in and grab the brakes. He got a right mouthful and I zoomed right up behind him at the next junction displaying a single digit. If he had stopped I think I might have been making an appearance in the local papers court roundup. I soon calmed down until someone's out of control dog chased me for a bit. Oh the fun!

They don't just do it to cyclists. I was driving home from Pilates this evening. First a taxi went straight through a mini roundabout as I was on it and I had to slam on the brakes, then another car came around the corner at speed, more on my side than his and only just missed me!
You can't take it personally, it's not worth it.

To many people rushing and just not paying attention agree with watching the parked cars. Atleast you didn't get hurt:smile:
