I'm glad you are sorted but amazed at how long you tried brute force and snake oil. If you took note of the amount of white crystalline powder that coated the quill and trace it's origin, you'll realize why penetrating oil doesn't work. There's only so much value one can place on saving a stem, thereafter you have to be practical.

Had one crack with heat and leverage, maybe if both were more affective I may have got somewhere, as with the seat post. Still the frame is back in storage ready to be built up and the piece of s**t stem is in the bin.
