Pub Pedals

These pedals seem so simple but ingenious! They simply slip over your eggbeaters to allow you to use regular shoes so you can "head to the pub" with ease. The spring force of the eggbeaters holds the pub pedals in place.

I got a set as an early birthday present. Now I just need to install my eggbeaters so I can try these out

Good idea but seem a bit chunky!!! Would be great for a short trip though...on the way back from the pub you wouldn't care i guess!!!

Shimano do a far more elegant and compact SPD clip in platform that doesn't look like the unholy offspring of a drunken one night stand between a bar of imperial leather and a lego brick.

It's not riding the eggbeaters to the pub that stops me, it's the leaving of the bike outside

I definitely wouldn't use them to actually ride to a pub as I wouldn't leave my bike outside, but they would be great for casual rides.
