Welcome all to the PTP thread for Gent-Wevelgem or as it’s now known in full “Gent-Wevelgem in Flanders Fields. The 2nd step of “Holy Week” returning for its 77th edition.

This year, the men’s race is 250km in length. It starts in Ypres and takes in the Plugstreets, a final climb of the Kemmelberg before finishing on the Vanackerestraat in Wevelgem.

You can find the startlist here: https://www.procyclingstats.com/race/gent-wevelgem/2025/startlist

We should have Mads Pedersen defending his title and challengers such as Pog, Philipsen, Ganna and Merlier.

For more info on the route, have a look here: https://www.gent-wevelgem.be/en/race/elite-men/race-info?tab=course-1

If that’s not enough cycling fun for one day then we also have the women’s race over 168km. Which should finish not too much later.

That startlist is here: https://www.procyclingstats.com/race/gent-wevelgem-women-elite/2025/startlist

Kopecky, Wiebes, Balsamo, Longo Borghini and Georgi to name a few of the current entrants.

Usual PTP rules apply so get your selections in prior to the flag dropping for each race and sit back and enjoy the action.

PSA: Only the men’s race is covered for PTP, as described in the main thread. Only the 4 spring monuments + WC include the women’s races alongside the men’s (at least for this year…)

In addition to this correction, apparently Pog is now going to do Paris-Roubaix and will not be doing E3 or GW as a result. So, don’t pick him!

Tim Merlier (seeing as my function here is to be an idiot)
