It is bad, 50k is earning around £160 per month in a relatively mid paying isa now, glad I moved mine a few months ago.

I’m at the ISA limit though for this year, and everything else is taxable.
At least I’m getting more from the PBs than the shocking shares ISA which is around -6% still

I was fortunate in that I could fund last year and this years isa within a couple of weeks of each other, I'll probably stick any spare cash in the PBs for the time being, but it won't be getting anywhere near 50k again ^_^

Cool, I managed to miss the 2022/23 deadline for my cash isa and was about 8k short annoyingly 🙄 I did shift an old one into a much better rate. I’ve got a bond maturing next month so will need to find somewhere for that (or blow it on a couple of holidays )

I am in the same boat with ISA's. Perhaps that nice Jeremy Hunt may increase the limit in the future. From next April I will fall into the tax bracket for Share Dividends as he has lowered the threshold on that.

There must be some carrots the nearer we get to a general election.

It"s strange the constant erosion of any relief on share dividend - potentially reduced investment levels are hardly conducive to improving the country's GDP.
