Was the £50 for a frame you had stripped and prepped yourself or did the shop do the strip/prep?

Shop blasted it due to my shoddy attempt as stripping it.......

Normally powder coater will strip and prep the frame. they'll sand blast the frame anyway so there's little saving to be made by pre stripping. It's also best to leave bolts in place to protect screw threads. I've worked in a powder coating plant and know that you will be thanked for sending your frame in in a clean and grease free state or as close as you can manage.
