Our postie is a not unpleasant lady.

I had one of those front doors fitted that had the letterbox st the bottom, so she has to bend over in font of my cctv camera evety ti e she delivers.

I seem to keep going back to my happy days as a postman. Somebody had sent to my walk at Christmas a (dead) turkey with no wrapping and only a label tied round it’s neck. There was never anyone at home and no safe place to leave it.
After a few days I was given the turkey ( which was getting a bit ripe ) by the gaffer and told to deliver it somehow and not come back until had done so.
I prowled round the house and found a bathroom window slightly open at the top. I got a dustbin to stand on and stuffed it through. There was a splash from inside as it arrived.
Never heard any complaints.
