Oscar again showed what an intuitive and caring boy he was yesterday.
In the dog park and one of the residents of assisted living accommodation near us was with a lady, they were playing music and singing along.
Bumped into them leaving the park and the young man was clearly worried by the dog.
His friend let Oscar jump up and made a fuss of him.
Introduced ourselves then had a wee chat.
Oscar gently leaned into the young man who stroked his ears and was quite happy with the situation 😀
The lady (carer) said it was an amazing experience and asked to take pictures 🥰
Happy to oblige and the young man left with more confidence and a new friend.
A lovely walk to the park and really made our day.
Now back in lazy git mode 🤣

I’ve not posted in here for ages.

We had Harry put down in November, he was 15.5 years old. We still miss him.

His ‘replacement’ is diminutive but full of character. His name is Herbie. Officially he’s my step daughters dog

Dilys is just about getting used to him after 6 weeks. I’m sure she’d have gladly left home!

At the start Cleo wasn’t too sure, but now her and Herbie are thick as thieves

The ‘onesie’ didn’t last long, before she widdled in it
(we didn’t get the poppers undone in time)

So it was on with the lampshade, whilst the onesie dries out, after rinsing through

I had a similar issue with the wee lady cat, although she could still use her litter tray.

It did make me question why we would put females through that, but it all turned out good in the end.
