Recently a kitten has been born with two heads. Now I see a duckling has hatched with four legs. This can't be good

I hate to disappoint you, (or perhaps, I would like to reaasure you), that such things are not so uncommon. Incomplete twinning is quite common in some animals, and a large number of such offspring are just naturally aborted in the early stages.

Mind you, when I got up this morning, I found the ground was covered in some sort of cold white powder. What's that all about?

When I was watching tv a strange slick talking man in a suit was warning what would happen in the future and foresaw the cold white powder. His forecasts also didn't mention the weekend. Will there be one ?

I remember seeing a photo of an eight-legged foal born in Russia just after the Chernobyl incident in 1986.

Tried to google it, but with no luck!

I think it won the Derby IIRC;)

This could be Sleipnir, Odin's eight-legged horse. This could presage the final battle of Ragnarok, when the gods fight the ice giants, and all but two humans perish. Funnily enough, all this is supposed to happen after a terrible winter of three years

Your a bit behind the times Yellow Fang as Stumpy has lost the two extra legs (they just fell off aparently) and now he is just an ordinary duck who has already fathered the next generation of two legged ducks.
