Herman's Hermits front man Peter Noone was a reluctant flyer and didn't want to go on a promotional tour to the United States but was persuaded after heavy pressure from his management. They thought it would be a good idea upon his arrival at JFK airport to announce his name over the tannoy so he'd think he was a bigger star there than he actually was. The problem was, the tannoy announcer got his name completely wrong and the message came out thus: "Paging Peter No one. Could Peter No one come to the TWA information desk."
