Blimey, in the '80s I was riding Nutrack Nomads in 27x1 & 1/4... like riding with treacle on your tyres, but good P*ncture resistance for those times.


Hah! I'd forgotten them. Yes I had them. Saved up for them and bought them from the Freewheel catalogue. Used to use them in Delamere forest and various other bridleways.

I'm riding Krylions (23mm).
The ride is really nice, seems a lot more supple and forgiving than my previous Conti GP 4 Seasons.
Grip doesn't seem quite so good on dirtier roads (and there's plenty to choose from round me!).
P*nct*res? No worse than usual, touchwood (*scratches head*).
Unfortunately, they've got the yellow stripe which was fine on my old bike, but don't match the new one's paintjob.:laugh:
