i had a clipless moment on monday which meant i broke my thumb, and was in a splint until today when the doc said i needed a proper cast, fine i says...

anyway now i have the problem that i cannot remove the jacket i was wearing as the cast is too big for my sleave , maybe i should have thought of this but i would have thought that the nurse doing the cast might also have mentioned something, him having done this x number of times b4?

OR perhaps he was more interested in getting back to the online snooker game i noticed he was playing on the computer in his room !!!

so 2 things really i) do i have any grounds for complaint? and ii) how the f*?k do i get this jacket off?

Just pull the jacket harder and HTFU.
Or failing that, big pair of scissors to cut it off, then some gaffa tape to mend it again after and you will be fine.
Or, just cut your thumb off;)

If you were in the US, you might have a claim similar to the woman who took a fast food place to court as the coffee was hot. Or maybe, you are the type who would complain that a bag of nuts contained nuts. Get a life and take some responsibility for your mistake - prat.

how far up your arm does the cast go? Didn't you roll up your sleeve then think 'better if I take the jacket off'?

Go back and get a new cast fitted........

Take the cast off yourself though.
A mate did that once, he had had enough of it, it smelt and it wasnt long untill it was going to be taken off, so he just got his multi tool out and got rid of it.
Good to watch:laugh:

It's generally the last thing on your mind.....Gav that was uncalled for.

Don't try and remove it with a multi tool ....go back....

I'll also comment on the fact that they go manky - I had one for 2-3 weeks after breaking a bone in my hand - turbo training on it...not a good recipe for smell free..... god knows how folk go on for 6 weeks.........
