Ted's shady arbour -

On a sunny day Ted, who overdosed on sun many years ago and has the skin-grafts to prove it, will often be sheltering from the damaging rays under his home-grown parasol. Today I found him in his shed fettling disc brakes, but we soon took to the shade of the laurel for a natter.

And yes, Ted lives up a bit of a hill, and I was glad of a 1x1 gear so as not to arrive hot and bothered 😅
