Plans for the weekend?

I have meetings to attend in Shanghai, but of course there are things to do in the evenings when the meetings are over. It will be my first weekend in Shanghai for a while so looking up old friends and eating some good food will also be 'on the menu'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Keith, what sort of exotic food would you eat in china that you wouldn't normally have in chinese places in Britain? Is it vastly different on average?

Me and t'other half are off to visit the in laws tomorrow. They live just up the road from some friends of mine, so we'll take the bikes and cycle to the pub for a pint or eight. Then maybe go out with the camera on Sunday, if the weather's ok.

Abitrary.. the stuff we eat 'ere aint a patch on the proper food you eat locally in China.....

No comparison - and I haven't been there, but my wife has.......

Bit late for plans now...
Working Saturday, visited relatives in the afternoon, babysitting for the granddaughter last night, watched 28 Days later when she was in bed...good film, as good as, but different in feel to 28 Weeks later (saw them back to front)

This morning...bit late out, managed 26 miles in fairly heavy winds (one way anyway....22mph )...just having dinner soon, visiting sisters this after.
