Today was a windy club run and I'll probably go out for a further ride tomorrow, I might manage 200K over 2 days. My longest ride so far this year has been less than 130km, good luck Noodley. I take it that you have recovered from the dreaded lurgy.

I'm doing a route check with the organiser of a 200k being held later in the year. He showed me the route earlier tonight and it's a bit hillier than I had anticipated But it'll wake me legs up after months of doing nothing much.

But I do sometimes venture down to Englandshire...

because, noodley, I didn't understand what they were until very recently. i love audaxes now, i've started doing them
I had the image that they were very much about orienteering, and like a bit of a cult of which you had to be fairly enlightened to be invited to enter one.
of which only the former seems to actually be true.

Well that did not go to plan Picked up an injury and had to turn at about 40km and head home.

Thankfully the journey home was with a very strong tail wind...
