Nothing planned yet!

Getting ready for my hols to Asia in two weeks time, so have to clean and tidy my rented cottage, sort out a rucksack's worth of clothes, and prepare myself for a several weeks in England, before going abroad again in Jan and Feb.

Probably get out for a ride on Sunday if it's not too cold, wet and/or windy!

For a change, me and Ms RT are actually planning to do some cycling! Going to pack a couple of panniers and a tent and head off towards Brecon, I think. If it's not chucking it down.
Now I've told you lot, we'll have to do it.;)

On Saturday I’ll be stripping out the bath room; had some friends over from Australia and they broke the bath. ;)

Sunday I will be at the EMITREMMUS DESREVER ride (summertime reversed). Stevenage CTC are organising it for the 14th year. 101km. Any other takers?

Paulus is it possible to join the EMITREMMUS DESREVER at the start?

Off for a week now - with the kids, so not much mileage..... tomorrow looks a wash out according to the telly !!!!

Might have to go out late in the evening next week and try the lights out on unlit lanes....... hee.......hee.....

Nothing planned - fit a ride in sometimes..... any good ideas for cheap activities... for next week...

So far....

Dunham Massey (park) - take kids bikes and they can ride about a fair bit
MOSI (Museum of Science and Industry) - went earlier this year, but the aerospace bit was shut - and that's where my Frank's brother is I think.......didn't spot it anywhere else......
Local park - on bikes.....
Swimming......
Yadda yadda........

I have the joy of hospital visits to my dad and father-in-law (both in the same hospital, which is handy I suppose).

And the even bigger joy of High School Musical 3. I may stab myself to get admitted to hospital myself beforehand...

Are they in the 'paternity ward'?

Hope it's nothing serious for either of them.

My dad broke his hip (second in 2 years as well as a knee replacement - he's almost bionic ) and had the op on Wednesday. Up and walking yesterday although still sore. It'll be another week or so til he gets out.

Father in law has been in for two weeks now. He should have had an Op yesterday but there were no beds in the hospital who carry out the Op, so another week of artificial inflation of his lung and hoping a bed becomes free. It appears Thursday is lung inflation Op day...he has had it twice before so I would have thought he'd be a bit of a priority. Obviously not.

Travelling back home from Arizona (camera phone picture below). Been here over a week without my bike and putting back on all the weight I've lost over the past 3 months.

Hi Shaun. Hope you don't mind me saying, but that is the scariest avatar I've ever seen. It's almost cool.
