Day off for me too, hoping to cycle to Skipton but the wind is not Mark friendly right now. If it's still bad at 10 I'll be heading to Malham for a walk.

Travelling to Grimsby tonight for the footie v Bradford and staying over with my family for a weekend on the east coast. We might well do the Whitby - Scarborough rail track, we've talked about doing it too much.

I'm riding from Lancaster to Darlington across the Trough of Bowland and the Yorkshire Dales, stopping at Kettlewell tomorrow evening. The wind should be favourable but I'm probably in for a soaking...Can't wait though...

Cub Scout activity day at Belchamps, Essex tomorrow so I'll be taking a pack of boys (all seemingly on speed) and my flint and steel firelighter.

Sunday I will be at the EMITREMMUS DESREVER ride (summertime reversed). Stevenage CTC are organising it for the 14th year. 101km. Any other takers?
