Travelling home tomorrow, should be back before 20:00, then on the club ride sunday all being well:becool:
Will be nearly all the day tomorrow travelling, plan to leave the campsite at 9am so should be home well before 20:00. Hope to get an earlier ferry crossing aswell, but i have worked it out, from Calais to Dover, the journey will be about 30 mins.

Not working (for a change)!

Not going to Stockholm.

Spent two hours cleaning my MTB this afternoon, and now the forecast for the weekend (and most of next week) is rain!

I'll probably stroll around Oslo tomorrow and have a look in one or three bike shops. Then do some shoplifting window shopping!

Sunday will be LAZY!

Tinkering with diesel locomotive devices tomorrow and Sun morning. Hopefully a beer and curry interlude Sat evening. Then if I get home in time on Sunday, checking the ignition timing on my VW bus, as I think its out.

I have already forgotten which railway you are at. Please remind me.
Do they do (day long) diesel driving experience days? Severn Valley only do half days.

Our main base is the Midland Railway - Butterley, near Ripley. At the moment we've got one of our locos on hire at the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway in Wirksworth for a test contract, so will be whizzing over there as well on Sunday.

MRB does steam and diesel driving experience days - http://www.midlandrailwaycentre.co.uk/English/experience.html but looks as though its probably a half-day ish job.

I myself am thinking about dusting off the old spirograph, and sending a couple of drawings into an art competition in the local rag.

One kid is just back from Guide camp so washing clothes, then packing as there are 2 of them away on Cadet camp from tomorrow.

Maybe a bit of balloon watching ... they woke me up this morning as they came overhead (but the weather forecast isn't good for the rest of the festival).

And then packing for me and the youngest to go rellie visiting in NI next week. (Can't decide whether to try and hire 2 bikes and escape whilst we are there or not - even if only for a couple of hours).

And the rain is just starting here:sad:
