Bugger indeed. This was the ride I was most looking forward to this year, and I make an arse of it cos I didn't check the tyres - what a pillock! I am more pissed off about it than I really should be cos it's only a bike ride...I think I'll still do a ride report and get it off my chest...

I think Hoover Flee's s-i-l should be despatched immediately to mop my brow and offer comfort. I can assure her no sandals and socks would be worn (unless she wanted me to )
